The small village of Es Carritxo is located in the middle of the hilly landscape that stretches from Calonge to Felanitx, offering magnificent panoramic views. The nearest towns, Calonge in one direction and Cas Concos in the other, are only a few kilometres away.

Felanitx, the next bigger town, can be reached in about 10 minutes and offers various shopping facilities, bars and restaurants. A large market is held here every Sunday.

The nearest beach is about 10 minutes away by car. The 18-hole golf course Vall d'Or is about 5 minutes away, Palma and the airport about 45 minutes.

The company Wein-Wert, which is located here, is specialised in wine cultivation on Mallorca and takes care of "your own" wine until bottling and marketing.
